Coke's environment friendly move

Coca-Cola Co said that it will eliminate hydrofluorocarbon gas in its new vending machines.Coke's 10 million vending machines, coolers and other refrigeration equipment around the world are the biggest contributor to the company's carbon footprint. Coke and its bottling partners will buy 150,000 units of HFC-free equipment in 2010, which is said to be an equivalent of taking 11 million cars off the road for a year. While Coke's environment friendly move is a good step forward, mankind has to work against putting so many energy consuming vending machines all over the earth. Have your say:
