Climate change is helping to make red wines in Britain

Climate change is helping British wine-makers to revive a lost tradition of making red wines. Red wines need warmth and sunshine the most and recent mild winters and springs are helping to grow right kind of grapes to produce quality red wines. Red wine making has also stared in Germany and other parts of France not previously used to grow types grapes used for red wines.
On the flip side, concerns are rising that global warming will shift growing patterns for crops, to the point that some developing countries may become too hot or dry to grow enough wheat and maize to feed themselves.
